Research

The Chair of Media Studies and Media Education systematically combines media studies and media education perspectives with a decidedly international and interdisciplinary orientation in both research and teaching. The focus is on the narrativity and postdigitality of contemporary media and media cultures as well as on the research fields of film and television studies, comics studies, game studies, transmedia studies, digital humanities and cultural studies-perspectives on the digital.
