Curriculum vitae

Jan-Noël Thon studied German studies, British literature, and media culture at the University of Hamburg and holds a PhD in media and communication studies from the University of Mannheim. Following various positions at the University of Tübingen, the University of Nottingham, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, he was appointed as Professor and Chair of Media Studies and Media Education at Osnabrück University in the Summer Term 2022.
